Interior Design magazine’s annual Best of Year Awards is inviting submissions of products and projects, with an extended deadline of September 28. The competition includes more than 100 categories, and is open to designers, architects and manufacturers from around the world.

This year, Best of Year is introducing nine new project categories:
Architectural Installation / Pop Up
Branding & Graphic Design (a graphics and branding program designed specifically for interiors)
Hospitality: Hotel Restoration / Renovation (the rehabilitation and/or redesign of a pre-existing hotel project)
Museum / Art Gallery
Office: Restoration / Renovation (the rehabilitation and/or redesign of a pre-existing office/commercial project)
Residence: Restoration / Renovation (the rehabilitation and/or redesign of a pre-existing residential project)
Transportation (a system for moving people; i.e., airport terminal or lounge, train or bus station)
On the Boards: Commercial (a real project that is currently in the design and/or construction process)
On the Boards: Residential (a real project that is currently in the design and/or construction process)
