Duravit USA’s fourth annual Designer Dream Bath Competition, which launched last week and closes September 23, is seeking entries for two design categories: Built and Unbuilt.
For the Built category, the company explains, “designers can submit completed projects featuring Duravit from 2011 to 2016,” and Unbuilt asks designers “to reimagine their own personal bathrooms using Duravit’s newest collections.” The winners receive $5,000 (Built) and $10,000 (Unbuilt) worth of their favorite Duravit products.
“The A&D community is full of problem solvers and outside-the-box thinkers,” says Duravit USA’s president, Tim Schroeder. “The competition allows us to see how Duravit can be used in these contexts, as an integral design element that helps make a space come alive.”
Design editors will make the final selection during Duravit’s Design Week, to be held October 17 to 19 in New York.
