The annual Business of Luxury Design (BOLD) Summit, set to take place August 27-29 at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, has attracted speakers including ASID President and CEO Randy Fiser, Dwell Media President Michela O’Connor Abrams, Edward Ferell + Lewis Mittman President Crans Baldwin, Luxe Interiors + Design Publisher Mike Peterson and Architecture Editor for Traditional Home Amy Elbert, to delve into the topics of business development and branding as well as marketing and public relations strategies for interior designers.

The summit, which originally launched in 2003 as the Business of Design Conference, is under new leadership this year. Julia Molloy, founder of Molloy Management Group, has brought more than 20 years of business operations management experience to BOLD’s rebranded symposium, conference and exhibition.

“The BOLD Summit’s intense course aims to provide a dynamic and collaborative learning experience for design professionals to help build personal wealth and company success,” said Molloy. “As a first-year host, I am excited to share my own knowledge and business management expertise as well as a curated faculty of industry and world business leaders to an exclusive group of elite designers, in a ground-breaking and renewed fashion.”

The three-day agenda has been designed to serve as a catalyst for luxury interior designers and architects, more than 100 of whom have registered for the conference, to reach the next level of success. Presentations and discussions have been tailored for designers seeking strategies on how to charge, get published more often, build wealth, cultivate relationships and attract an affluent audience.
