A roster of notable attendees, including Hudson Furniture founder-creative director Barlas Baylar, Jamie Drake, Matthew Patrick Smyth, S. Russell Groves, Brian Sawyer and Alexander Gorlin, celebrated Hudson Furniture's showroom opening in a September 24 party hosted by Architectural Digest and the magazine’s editor in chief, Margaret Russell. Hudson Furniture’s new showroom in New York’s Flatiron neighborhood welcomed a total of 200 guests, with other design notables including Joel Barkley, John Barman, Malcolm James Kutner, Juan Montoya, Urban Karlsson, Robert Stilin, Brad Ford, Shawn Henderson, Stephen Fanuka, Katrina Hernandez, and Joshua Greene in attendance.
“Barlas and his team should be very proud of their gorgeous new Hudson Furniture showroom,” Russell told EAL. "The space feels like an enormous art gallery, and it showcases Barlas’s sculptural furniture designs so beautifully."
