On Thursday, December 2, during Art Basel Miami Beach, the Ralph Pucci gallery and Elle Decor hosted a fete to celebrate new works by Los Angeles–based furniture designer Stefan Bishop, Miami-based photographer Juan Pablo Castro and New York–based artist Rebecca Moses. Elle Decor editor in chief Asad Syrkett and Ralph Pucci welcomed more than 300 guests to the gallery opening in Miami’s Wynwood arts district.
While enjoying Vera Wang Party Prosecco and Hibiscus Bellini Prosecco Sorbet from Aubi & Ramsa, guests explored the exhibits of new paintings by Moses, majestic wood sculptures and furniture by Bishop, and large-scale fashion photography by Castro.
The Ralph Pucci gallery exterior was adorned with ten 17-foot-tall murals from Moses’s “Bubblegum, Lipstick and Hope” exhibit in praise of women—a riot of color and a celebration of the ordinary. Take-home-ready 9-by-12-inch portraits by the artist were on display inside.
“What a joy to be back in person in Miami, especially during such a busy fair week with so much to see,” said Pucci. “The artists celebrated showcase the diversity of Pucci and our mix of art and design, how we always look ahead for what’s next.”
