Kravet and Andrew Martin celebrated the launch of Kit Kemp’s premier line of fabric and wallpaper at Manhattan’s renowned Whitby Hotel on Thursday, June 27, where Kemp, an award-winning interior designer of exclusive boutique hotel properties, presented her collection. Along with Martin Waller from Andrew Martin, Kemp appointed the space with additional decor and accessories from the collection. The interior design community from the tristate area joined to mingle and meet Kemp and learn the inspiration behind her collection, which embodies a lyrical spirit that sits happily in both town and country settings. Design Thread, Kemp’s third and latest interiors book, was available for purchase and signing.
One hundred and thirty top interior designers, tastemakers and industry notables turned out to celebrate, including designers Scott Sanders, Nick Olsen, Young Huh, Peti Lau, Tina Ramchandani, Daun Curry, Alison Rose, John Douglas Eason, Tamara Eaton and Jennifer Cohler Mason. Editors from House Beautiful, Interior Design, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Luxe Interiors + Design and Business of Home were in attendance.
