Job Description

Verellen, a 25-year-old US producer of livable, loveable, luxury furniture, case goods and lighting, is seeking dynamic Territory Outside Salespersons for open US territories. We would like to start a conversation with you!
Your dedication to driving sales growth in luxury furniture will be instrumental in expanding our market presence in the following regions: Eastern FL, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Midwest East, Pacific NW. The ideal candidate must have home furnishings sales experience, preferably in wholesale furniture distribution and be located within the specified territory. The Territory Sales Representative position is a sales-focused role with some administrative duties. It is customer-facing with a focus on driving new growth as well as building existing relationships with accounts in the specified states. The person in this position will be in front of customers and potential customers an average of 3-4 days a week. The remaining time will be in a home office or furniture trade showroom base. These client visits include presenting our products and luxury furniture brand story; training on how to place orders; frame & materials training, etc., in order to win and build sales. This candidate should be comfortable running meetings and making presentations.
Duties will include finding new business, driving sales; fielding incoming potential clients as well as prospecting for new accounts; processing any generated sales quotes through to the home office, assisting as needed in the local, luxury showroom. Following up on and facilitating any orders or questions. S/he will provide our clientele with the utmost in customer service and attention to detail in every interaction and transaction. The Territory Representative is responsible for all order tracking and follow-up, and persuasive communication skills.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Calendar Management and CRM systems
• Provide each prospective client with an introduction to/education in our company and products.
• Generate and follow up on all quotes and sales orders for all clients
• Provide clients with updates on sales orders, production schedules, product info
• Ensure all pertinent information regarding orders and quote status is accurate and up to date in our systems
• Think strategically about business and work with supervisors to craft and execute an effective plan of action to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to High Point HQ

Reports To: Regional Director of Sales

Work Environment: This job operates predominately “in the field” but is a hybrid home office, showroom (if applicable) road position.

Travel: 3-4 days per week, on average as well as bi-annual travel to High Point, NC for spring and fall Markets, as needed. Access to or ownership of a personal vehicle required. Valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year base + commission/incentive
