The Sales Associate has the primary responsibility to maximize sales volume by growing existing business, developing new business, and providing the best possible customer service while enhancing Baker’s mission to offer the highest quality and service standards in the industry.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Communication - Encompasses all interactions between a business and its customers, aiming to build relationships, address concerns, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.
Order Entry - POS involves capturing details like customer information, products or services ordered, quantity, pricing, and delivery information.
Customer Service - Knowledge of products, availability and prompt responses, doing what is necessary to go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied.
Customer Development and Maintenance - Intentional focus on generating revenue through direct customer interaction.
Showroom Responsibilities - Assist with maintaining a clean and organized showroom, and may be involved in creating and maintaining displays.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate will possess previous (5 yr) experience with high-end sales/customer experience, preferably in the furniture/design industry. Basic knowledge of the history of furniture design (periods, styles, designers, etc.) is preferred.
