Lauren Vallario Designs is growing — and we’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer who’s ready to step into a true leadership role inside a fast-paced, high-end residential design studio.
This is not a support role. It’s an opportunity for an experienced designer to take ownership of incredible residential projects, lead client relationships, collaborate closely with the Principal Designer, and help shape the future of a growing firm known for thoughtful, elevated interiors.
We’re looking for someone who loves the details as much as the big picture. Someone who can lead a client meeting in the morning, review cabinetry drawings in the afternoon, problem-solve with a contractor on-site, and still keep the design vision crystal clear throughout the process.

What You'll Do
You'll lead high-end residential projects from concept through installation, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and the internal project team.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the creative vision and design development of residential projects
• Designing highly detailed kitchens and bathrooms that align with NKBA standards and best practices
• Managing project timelines, budgets, procurement, and installation coordination
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, cabinetmakers, and vendors
• Presenting design concepts with confidence and professionalism
• Directing and mentoring junior team members
• Proactively solving problems before they become obstacles
• Ensuring every project reflects the firm's design standards and level of service
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design
• Strong experience managing renovations and new construction projects
• Advanced knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design
• Familiarity with NKBA guidelines and industry best practices
• Expertise in furniture layouts, materials, finishes, cabinetry, fixtures, and construction processes
• Experience collaborating with contractors and trades
• Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A polished, client-facing presence
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
Who You'll Work With
You'll work directly alongside Lauren Vallario, Founder & Principal Designer, serving as an extension of the firm's leadership team.
While Lauren remains involved in overall creative direction and major design milestones, you'll have significant ownership over the day-to-day leadership of your projects, including client communication, contractor coordination, project execution, and team management.
