• Lead multiple project teams independently and report directly to Studio Directors.
• Oversee and collaborate on the design direction of architectural finishes and overall interior environments based on project criteria, programming, and budget.
• Create strong design concepts and schematic design presentations to communicate the narrative and intent of the design.
• Lead and deliver compelling client presentations in coordination with Studio Directors.
• Develop and review detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork, and architectural details, as well as design specifications.
• Ensure design documentation complies with quality, building codes, aesthetic and client brand standards.
• Full coordination of drawing sets across disciplines.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals for content, accuracy, and alignment with the design intent.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to design support staff; assist in resource planning and project scheduling.
• Conduct regular design and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication with project teams through meeting notes, updates, and memos.
• Monitor and report on project milestones, staffing requirements, and progress in collaboration with Studio Directors and Principals.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and external partners.
• Interpret contracts and apply terms to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables.
• Participate in discussions relating to contracts, change orders, and fee structures.
• Create change orders as required in coordination with Studio Directors.

• Professional degree in Architecture OR Interior Design required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience leading interior design projects across all phases, including construction administration.
• Proven success managing high-end private residential and hospitality projects.
• Strong conceptual and narrative design development skills.
• Proficient in software standards: AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, Microsoft Suite, DesignSpec, Revit and BIM 360.
• Base understanding of 3D visualization tools (Sketch-up, Rhino, 3DSMax, Enscape, D5, Lumion, VRay)
• Clear understanding of drawing set standards, construction detailing, and interior finish specifications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation and public speaking ability.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative.
• LEED or WELL certification, PMP certification, AIA, or NCIDQ a plus.
