The Sales Support Associate will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of our sales operations by managing key administrative tasks and supporting the sales team in delivering an exceptional client experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of the luxury design industry.
Job Purpose: This position is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of sales operations by providing administrative and organizational support to our dynamic sales team.
Essential Functions:
Data Management:
- Input approved trade accounts into Salesforce with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and regularly update customer databases to ensure current and accurate information.
Client Onboarding & Support:
- Prepare and distribute welcome packets for new clients.
- Assist the sales team with processing sample orders promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with the sales team to facilitate effective client communication and support a superior client experience.
Sales Operations:
- Enter and maintain sales opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring meticulous tracking and updates.
- Process client payments in Salesforce, maintaining confidentiality and precision.
- Collaborate with the production team to provide updates on order and shipping statuses, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Generate and distribute weekly sales reports to support strategic planning and sales meetings.
- Perform other sales-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the team’s goals.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support role, ideally in the luxury design industry.
- Familiarity with the AD100 community and interior design industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a meticulous approach to administrative tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges and improving processes.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Airtable is essential.
