Job Description

The PC is an integral part of the Thorsen management team and serves as the
customer service liaison between Thorsen and the design/ownership teams throughout the course of
a project. The PC becomes a very well-known part of the project team and will work on several
projects at the same time so the ability to be outgoing, proactive, and manage several moving parts
is important. The primary goal of the PC is to help streamline the building process by managing the
constant flow of information resulting in a project experience that is both efficient and enjoyable for
everyone involved.

Job Requirements

Recurring tasks shall include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with project managers (PMs) and design/ownership teams to develop and manage
project schedules
- Work with PMs and design/ownership teams to manage and reconcile project allowances
- Work with PMs and design/ownership teams to manage and organize project shop drawings,
ASKs, and RFI’s
- Work with PMs to send out bi-weekly Looking Ahead reports to the whole project team
- Follow up with design/ownership team about outstanding selections and drop dead dates
- Attend bi-weekly site meetings with Thorsen management team and design/ownership team
- Take copious notes at bi-weekly meetings and follow-up with Thorsen team on our action
items
- Work with PMs to produce change orders if design/ownership team request additional work
- Track long lead time orders that were placed by PMs
- Assist with finding alternative selections when materials are out of stock or cancelled
- Set up and maintain Thorsen Dropbox job folders
- Set up and maintain Thorsen Builder Trend platform
