Job Description

We are seeking a detail-driven Procurement Coordinator to join our interior design team and support the sourcing, purchasing, and tracking of furnishings, materials, and finishes for luxury residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys working with vendors, and understands the importance of precision in a high-end design environment.
About the Role

The Procurement Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring design intent is executed flawlessly—from order placement through delivery and installation. You will work closely with designers and vendors to manage purchasing timelines, track orders, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process purchase orders for furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories
• Coordinate with designers to confirm specifications, pricing, and lead times
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status, backorders, damages, and deliveries
• Track all orders from placement through final delivery and installation
• Review vendor acknowledgements, invoices, and freight documentation for accuracy
• Maintain procurement logs, schedules, and project documentation
• Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and white-glove delivery as needed
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies, damages, or returns
• Support the design team with procurement-related reporting

Job Requirements

Qualifications
• 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or order management experience (interior design, architecture, or luxury retail preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience working with vendors and managing multiple orders simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Studio Designer a plus
• Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
