Job Description

As an Interior Design Procurement Coordinator, you will be integral to the smooth acquisition of home furnishings for our clients. Your key responsibility will be to deliver timely and accurate quotes to designers, leveraging our extensive vendor network. You'll manage communication between designers and vendors, ensuring that orders meet client needs and expectations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Ivy software, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment using Slack.

Job Requirements

Receive and review quote requests from designers via email.
Analyze project requirements and source items from our vendor list.
Calculate pricing using vendor pricing structures.
Provide detailed quotes with item pricing, availability, and lead times.
Ensure all quotes are accurate and consistent with company standards.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
Communicate with vendor representatives to gather pricing, availability, and lead time information.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to quotes, orders, or deliveries promptly and professionally.

Provide timely and professional responses to designer inquiries.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support.
Serve as the central point of contact for all procurement-related questions from internal teams and vendors.
Documentation and Record Keeping:

Keep detailed records of all quotes, orders, and communications.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for reference.

Core Competencies:

Ability to thrive in a high-paced, high-volume team environment.
Expertise in vendor practices and procurement processes.
Advocate for designers by ensuring their needs are met efficiently and accurately.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for quote management, record keeping, and reporting.
Expertise in navigating Apple operating systems and devices.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment using Slack for communication.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate pricing and documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Previous experience in interior design procurement or a similar role.

Experience managing vendor relationships.
Background in customer service or client-facing roles.
