Wesley Moon Inc, a luxury residential interior design firm in NYC, is seeking a Junior Designer with 2-5 years of interior design firm experience to join our growing team. The Junior Designer will collaborate closely with the Senior Designer, Architect, and Principal Designer managing projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, passionate, and communicative individual eager to grow as a vital member of our team.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
-Provide direct assistance to Senior Designer in all project related tasks
-Source samples & assist in developing schemes for client presentations
-Communicate with vendors to request quotes & place orders
-Source FF&E for various projects
-Monitor order tracking, order status & maintain tracking sheets
-Coordinate with receiving warehouses
-Create & maintain lighting, plumbing, finish and paint schedules
-Assist in furniture installations with Senior Designer & Principal
-Label & maintain fabric and material samples pertaining to each project
-Assist in organizing sample library
-2-5 years of professional experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
-Strong communication & interpersonal skills
-Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Google Drive, Microsoft Suite & Studio Designer
-Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
-Professional demeanor and an eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment
