Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Inside and Outside Sales Manager to manage and grow our client relationships in the Bay Area. This role will split time between the showroom in San Francisco and visiting clients across the region, ensuring the Una Malan experience is brought directly to designers, architects, and high-end clientele. This role requires a seasoned representative with established connections in the interior design community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on architects, designers, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Showroom Sales:
Act as the lead sales contact within the San Francisco showroom, ensuring all clients are welcomed, guided, and provided with exceptional service.
- Client Visits:
Conduct off-site visits to client offices and homes throughout the Bay Area to introduce our collections, present solutions, and close sales.
- Sales Growth:
Strategically grow Una Malan’s market share in the Bay Area by identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing key relationships, and providing personalized service to drive repeat business.
- Sales Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth across the region.
- New Business Opportunities:
Identify and manage new business opportunities by visiting key clients, introducing the Una Malan brand, and cultivating long-term partnerships.
- KPI & Growth Reporting:
Monitor and report on company-wide KPIs to track annual growth, ensuring that sales objectives align with business goals.
- Progress Tracking & Strategy Alignment:
Track weekly progress in relation to business objectives, and provide strategic input on future business planning, collaborating closely with the wider team to refine approaches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with design, operations
Skills and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in luxury furniture or high-end design sales.
- Strong aesthetic and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strategic and solutions-based thinker, able to creatively meet client needs.
- A consistently positive attitude displayed both as an individual and within a collaborative team of peers and management.
- Strong understanding of the Bay Area design community and key industry players.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mentality.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Availability to work in the showroom and travel throughout the Bay Area for client visits.
- A valid driver’s license and access to transportation for off-site client meetings.
