NYC and Wellesley MA based Kathleen Walsh Interiors is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with at least 7+ years of single family high end residential experience. This position is for a talented individual who will work with our boutique firm to support the design portion of our projects. This entails working from the start of furniture plans, to assisting with the development of the design presentation, and then specifying nitty-gritty details to prep orders for procurement. Ideal candidate will be available immediately to take on a regular number of hours each week in either the metro-Boston area OR in NYC. Candidate must easily be able to go to design showrooms in person (so be located within an hour of NYC or Boston) and meet with Principal and team in either office location periodically for key parts of the process.

Ideal candidate requirements:

-Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design
-Full time design firm experience working in single family, high end residential design
-Experience seeing a project through from start to completion, multiple times. You must have participated in installations and design presentations, as will as have first hand experience doing procurement.
-Proficient in AutoCAD
-High preference for candidate who knows Studio Designer software
-US Drivers Licence
-Full ability to work in US
-Fluent in English- writing and speaking
-Independent Contractors must have a website, and file as an LLC or Incorporation.
