This newly created role is an opportunity to become the operational leader responsible for transforming vision into execution. As Director of Operations, you will build the systems, processes, and accountability that enable Ashleigh Graber Design to scale while preserving the exceptional client experience and design quality that define our brand. Working directly with the Principal Designer, you will integrate strategic priorities into daily operations, lead the implementation of scalable business systems, optimize workflows across the organization, and create the operational structure that empowers the team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
You will be accountable for the operational performance of the business by:
• Leading the firm's day-to-day operations and driving cross-functional organizational communication and accountability.
• Building scalable systems, processes, and workflows that improve efficiency, consistency, and execution.
• Developing operational dashboards, tracking KPIs, and reporting that provide visibility into business performance.
• Leading weekly operations meetings and ensuring priorities move from discussion to execution.
• Identifying operational bottlenecks, implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
• Creating an operating environment that allows our creative team to focus on delivering exceptional design and client experiences.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in:
• Leading operations within a growing project-based or professional services business.
• Building systems and processes that create scalable, repeatable operations.
• Leading and developing high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Driving measurable operational improvements through process optimization and technology.
• Developing dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that support informed business decisions.
• Translate, integrate, vision into execution.
• Own project operations, including firm scheduling, resource planning, and workflow management to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
• Experience in a project-based business such as interior design, architecture, construction, engineering, consulting, or similar professional services.
• Experience implementing and optimizing business systems, project management software, or operational technology is preferred (e.g, Asana).
• Proven success implementing operational improvements with measurable business results.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability.
