Job Description

Preparation of client presentations (Space planning, printing, pricing, and organizing)
Reviewing client orders and specifications
Reviewing custom products including measurements, hardware, finish, type of wood, etc.
Following up with vendors on orders and lead times
Handle CFAs and RMAs
Residential Space Planning
New product sourcing per designer’s request
Product quoting/pricing
Coordinate and manage various tasks alongside project manager
Client Installation preparation
Communication with clients and vendors

Job Requirements

Design Assistants should have completed coursework in Interior Design or similar degrees (e.g. Architecture, Interior Architecture, etc.). Additionally, Design Assistants should have some intern experience and/or work experience.

AutoCAD (REQUIRED)
Studio Designer and/or Photoshop (a plus)
Strong detail orientation
Excellent people management skills and team player
Enthusiastic, positive, whatever-it-takes attitude
Residential design experience
Space planning experience
Strong oral, written, and organizational skills
Ability to sketch
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving skills and resourcefulness
