Jennifer Manners Design is seeking a highly motivated, creative, sales-oriented professional to contribute to our US business growth based in our New York showroom at the NYDC.
The full-time Client Liaison position requires strong sales, customer service, communication, organisation, and leadership skills. A positive, professional attitude, a passion for design and serving the interior design community is a must.
This is an excellent opportunity to join and drive the growth of a family-owned company that has expanded into the US over the past two years. We are committed to continuous growth, innovation and to being the primary resource for rugs to the interior design trade.
Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Manage current client relationships/develop new clients, working towards agreed sales targets.
• Work with our Operations Manager to coordinate shipping and installation of orders.
• Supporting new product launches.
• Identify opportunities with design professionals and convert to active trade accounts.
• Strong colour and design sensibility.
• Quantify data and report regularly on growth, showroom sales and any possible trends in consumer interests.
• Work with General Manager to plan, budget and administrate showroom and private events and elevating the brand.
This is a fast paced role that requires a self-assured and resourceful individual to take on a wide ranger of creative and administrative tasks and to drive the company’s growth.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•At least three years experience working for a luxury trade interiors company or high end creative customer service role.
•Established key relationships with regional interior designers in the NY metropolitan area and beyond.
•Strong and inherent leadership qualities with the ability to develop sales opportunities and build client relationships, maintain and organise showroom sampling and materials, and collaborate with a high-performing, results driven team.
•Excellent organisational, communication and computer skills.
•You will need to be passionate about growing a successful business and have the desire to be a part of a dynamic team.
•Proven ability to manage projects simultaneously and report to the wider team.
•Self-starter and results-oriented approach to tasks.
•Strong, proactive and confident communicator with a keen eye for detail.
Higher education degree, preferably in Interior design, business, marketing or related fields a plus.
