Kreiss is looking for a part-time AutoCAD drafter for a hybrid position working in our Los Angeles flagship store and remotely. This is an hourly position at approximately 25-30 hours a week, but for the right candidate we would consider a full-time salaried position. This position will assist all members of the sales and design team, working particularly closely with the Design Director.
Responsibilities include:
• Create technical 2D drawings in AutoCAD including floor plans, elevations and detailed furniture drawings for production
• Create 3D renderings in SketchUp to present floor plans, elevations and furniture placement
• Work with the design & sales team to create digital client presentations to convey design intention
• Creative input during design phase with a collaborative spirit
• Occasionally assist the design & sales team during site visits to take field measurements
• Work with in-house CRM and cloud system to log client plans and presentations

• Excellence in AUTOCAD or similar drafting software. This is a requirement for the position and there will be a skill review during the interview
• Strong proficiency in Photoshop, SketchUp, Google & Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to read and understand building plans and elevations
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / InDesign and 3D photorealistic rendering software a plus but not required
• Knowledge of residential furniture is a plus
• College Degree in Interior Design/Architecture or related field preferred
• Strong time management skills, able to multitask and work independently on multiple projects and juggle various deadlines at the same time.

• Responsible, accountable and punctual
• Team player who can work well in a small team and has a positive, can-do attitude
• Available IN-PERSON in LOS ANGELES, CA; hybrid work environment when possible during our showroom hours. Must have the ability to be on Zoom while working remotely.
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured automobile
• 2+ years of working experience.
