WithIt's "The Leading Woman" annual professional women's conference for the home and furnishings industries unfolded in Atlanta over August 17 to 19. Dedicated to professional women’s development, it also spotlighted WithIt’s Rising Leader student scholarship program. The event featured more than 20 speakers and presenters on hand to educate and inspire 150 attendees, with Jackie Hirschhaut of the American Home Furnishings Alliance and sponsors Frinier Atelier, Glen Raven/Sunbrella and Century Furniture at the helm.

Students in attendance represented Appalachian State University, High Point University, Kendall College of Art and Design, Meredith College, North Carolina State University, Philadelphia University, Rhode Island School of Design, Savannah College of Art and Design, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Virginia Commonwealth University.
