Industry leaders Michael Bruno, Paloma Contreras and Linda O’Keefe, among others, will share their insights at Vicente Wolf’s “Learning to See” seminar on July 22 to 23.

The seminar will focus on both the business side and the creative aspect of running a successful interior design firm. Some highlights include: Pittsburgh Paints Marketing Specialist, Dee Schlotter, will cover color trends, how psychological reactions inform interior design, teaching participants how to make use of color psychology and how four design elements can harmonize a space.

“I think that we owe a responsibility to give back, and this is something that I’ve learned from other people’s input. I felt it would be nice to share what I know with other designers,” Wolf tells EAL. The idea was his own, though he took inspiration from an event- and seminar-planning friend. “He told me what he had been doing and I thought to myself, well, that’s great! He said how satisfying it was to get people together and really build a communal sense of the group.” Wolf has also been gauging, and generating, interest by posting via Facebook about the seminar lecturers and the post-seminar party.

Attendees will also tour the VW Home Showroom, participate in a discussion on ready-made versus custom furniture, and enjoy a cocktail party at Wolf’s idea-inspiring, private loft. The seminar will be held at The Glass House, and the cost is $2,500.00. Learn more and register online.
