Custom window treatment retailer The Shade Store welcomed designers to its flagship showroom on East 59th Street in Manhattan, Friday, March 6, one of many to open across the country in 2015. The nearly 3,000-square-foot space allows customers full access to the company’s complete inventory, including free samples of over 900 materials available on site.

“Our goal at The Shade Store is to offer our customers something unique and back it up with world-class customer service,” said Lisa McClelland, vice president of showrooms for The Shade Store. “We’re thrilled to be unveiling this sophisticated new showroom.”

To facilitate better service and ease for the design community and trade customers, the showroom contains a conference room where designers can meet with their clients and work on projects.

"We’ve improved every aspect of the customer experience, as well as incorporating some amazing new perks for the trade,” said McClelland. “We’re confident there’s nothing else out there quite like it.” The Shade Store has revamped its trade discount and loyalty program, instituted a “customers own material” program and updated its contract pricing.
