Ready Made Go 2, the second iteration of an event that debuted last year, returns during the London Design Festival in September. The project will feature another series of products commissioned from London-based designers, including Philippe Malouin, Studio Vit, Tomás Alonso and Hilda Hellström, made and installed for the Ace Hotel London Shoreditch. This year, the objects will be shown in the environments for which they were designed.

Modern Design Review, an independent design magazine, created and curates the event. Among the products appearing this year are seating, artwork and signage. Malouin, who is director of the architectural and interiors design practice Post-Office and has designed tables, rugs, chairs, lights, art objects and installations, created an update to the stackable wooden stool he made for last year’s show, which is now available in four shades.
