The largest of its kind in the U.K., the Olympia International Art and Antiques Fair will unfold at London's Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre June 18-28 for its 43rd annual fair. Present-day pieces as well as antiques will be presented by 160 specialist dealers, including ArtAncient, Galerie Ary Jan, De Eenhoorn and more offering works of art; Serhat Ahmet, Gould Antiques, and The Old Corkscrew with objects of Virtu and miniatures; and Richard Hoppé Antiques and James Hyman Fine Art Limited with photographs, plus an array of other vendors offering posters, pictures, silver, textiles, prints and maps, sports artifacts and more.
In addition, fascinating lectures (including "What Is Luxury?" presented by the Victoria and Albert Museum on June 19, and "William Morris and His Fascination with Carpets from the Middle East," with Hali on June 21), a selection of gratis tours led by art consultant Vanessa Curry, and other programs and events will be on offer.
