The AbitaMi Decor & Design Lab (AbitaMi), a new annual show in the format of an exhibition/workshop, will take place alongside the international home show, Autumn Macef September 8-11.

The aim is to create a workshop, but also a commercial exhibition which is able to offer an integrated, wide, cross-section to the world of “living”. The show will be specifically centred around the productive dialogue between tradition and innovation and the convergence of the disciplines of design and craftsmanship to supply valid research and experimentation ideas to the entire sector, and the people involved in it.

Created and directed by Carlo Amadori, who is also the Strategic Director of Macef, the show will emphasize the personalization of living, according to the taste and demands of the public, showing Milan as the epicentre in the Italian domestic field.

AbitaMi will be geared to retail and wholesale specialists, architects and designers, trendsetters and analysts, as well as people from the communication world, and the trade press.

An expected 500 exhibitors within the various product sectors will be carefully vetted by a special selection commission. Products will include everything from fine craftsmanship to haut décor and beyond, favoring expressions of excellence in the Made in Italy sphere, as well as a limited number of representative quality names from Europe.
