The spring issue of Luxe Interiors + Design launched with a fete hosted by Ash Suri of Autun Contractors and Bruce Tilley of Décor NYC, recognizing the magazine’s featured designers Eddie Lee, Cormac Byrne and Jenny Wolf.

"I have always admired Luxe Interiors + Design for their content and style. When we learned that the project that we had recently completed for the multitalented designer Eddie Lee was going to be featured in Luxe's May issue, we decided that it would be a great opportunity to get everyone together to celebrate," said Suri.

The event, which treated guests to Champagne and canapés courtesy of Pounds & Ounces NYC Pub, was held at Décor NYC, which Suri had built for Bruce Tilley. "Autun Contractors strives to build and deliver exceptional projects and this was a small gesture in showing our appreciation by hosting our clients, architects and designers who we work with on a continuous basis," said Suri.

Inside Décor NYC

As Tilley explains, "My relationship started with Ash when I hired him to do a gut renovation on my landmarked townhouse in 2000. When signing the lease for my new retail concept, Décor NYC, I hired Autun Contractors again to do the complete build-out of Décor NYC. Since, I have continued to value my relationship with Ash, his work and continue to recommend him to many clients.”

The striking spring issue cover of Luxe Interiors + Design spotlights a Cuban art collector’s warm SoHo loft. Ash Suri, of Autun Contractors, was the homebuilder on the project, with Edward Wendt of Now Workshop as architect, and Eddie Lee of Eddie Lee, Inc. as interior designer.

"This project is a great example of that old adage to surround yourself with good people to make yourself look better," said Lee. "From the client's impeccable taste to the architect and contractor's expertise it was a collaboration in every sense. I'm so proud of what we created and I learned so much working with the team. Hopefully the first of many!"
