Each year, La Cienega Design Quarter (LCDQ) embraces an overarching theme to pay homage to the people or things that help to create and inspire excellence in design. “Windows to the World” is the theme of its 4th-annual LEGENDS celebration.

From May 9th-12th, participants will celebrate the impact that travel – both local and global – can have on design. In support of the travel theme, LEGENDS will, for the first time, extend the reach of its program beyond Los Angeles by inviting the most highly regarded interior designers from across the country and around the globe to participate.

“With over fifty highly respected design showroom and gallery members, the La Cienega Design Quarter is one of the nation's premier shopping districts for design," said Lee Stanton, President of the LCDQ Board. "Our LEGENDS of La Cienega celebration has become the most anticipated design event in the country. It is truly a convergence of fashion, art and design with a tremendous sense of inspiration and community spirit. We are looking forward to unveiling exciting plans for this year’s celebration as we celebrate influences from around the world."

LEGENDS will feature a diverse array of programming and events, including keynote panel discussions, high-profile cocktail parties and receptions, coffee and tea parties, personal appearances, trunk shows, special exhibitions and more. Additionally, a select group of designers will be invited to use travel as their inspiration to transform the actual windows of the LCDQ members’ storefronts.

This year’s programming schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
