The annual American Made Summit returns for its fifth anniversary over October 21 to 23. Presented by Martha Stewart at her company's New York headquarters, the summit brings together celebrity entrepreneurs and small business owners for interviews, panel discussions and speeches designed to inspire attendees. Among this year’s speakers are Jessica Alba, founder and chief creative officer of The Honest Company; Zac Posen, designer and founder of The House of Z; and Joseph Abboud, chief creative director of Tailored Brands.
Each year during the summit, $10,000 prizes are awarded to entrepreneurs and small business owners for their goods, craftsmanship and ideas. The honorees are chosen for turning their passions into a successful business. This year’s winners will be introduced during the opening ceremony on October 21. Past award winners include Heather Lins of Heather Lins Home, Rowland and Chinami Ricketts of Ricketts Indigo, Jane Scott Hodges of Leontine Linens, and Lindsey Adelman of Lindsey Adelman Studio.
