ICON Awards praise industry leaders at Atlanta market

Renowned performers Hall and Oates kicked off this year's ICON Honors at AmericasMart Atlanta on July 9, honoring innovation and achievement in the home and gift industry. Held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, the event hosted 1,000-plus attendees who were on hand to celebrate the six ICON Honors honorees for this year.

The ICON Awards recognize achievement in the home and gift industry.

Among the winners are: Kuhn Rikon Switzerland, winning in the Product Innovations category; Lamon Luther, for Community Influence; Poketti, for Branding/Identity; LEE Industries, winning the Mart Medal of Excellence Honor; Howard Henschel of The Norman Group, who owns 46 Hallmark Gold Crown stores throughout central N.J. and the Philadelphia area and won the Lifetime Achievement Honor; and RM Innovation, taking the The Gift and Home Trade Association/Gift for Life Honor of Excellence for its program which automates the process of data product management for retailers.
