HFN has released its annual State of the Industry Report, which is available at hfnmag.com and in the April print edition of the magazine.
The report is a statistical source on home furnishings data featuring category-by-category breakdowns for all major home furnishings classifications. It also includes channel of distribution information for specific industry products.
In summary, the 2010 report showed only the housewares segment in the red for the year; and overall, that the home business had a down year in 2009.
For the first time, the report includes share of market results for online sales across the home furnishings spectrum.
