While many of the talents appearing at Christofle's Star Table Series have been interior designers, recently the fine flatware maker turned to tabletop designer and etiquette expert Lynda Rodriguez to shed light on proper international dining protocol.
Last month, select industry guests visited the flagship showroom on Madison Avenue in New York City to see the tablescape Rodriguez described as a Thanksgiving table with romantic style.
“I used a combination of gold, silver and beige to create a smooth, delicate look,” Rodriguez said. “I used a combination of my favorite collections; Marly and the Malmaison have a detailed design with traditional inspiration that brings classic elegance.”
Draped with a white linen tablecloth, the table featured gold-accented flatware, crystal stemware and a silver candelabra, all complemented by a centerpiece floral arrangement, chocolate cake and Ferrero Rocher candies.
“Flowers give elegance to the table,” continued Rodriguez. “Inspired by traditional Thanksgiving, I created a flower arrangement with classic warm colors and aromas of autumn.”
Notable guests included Luxury Brands Manager at Quest Magazine Sara Beth Shrager, Ardency Inn Founder Gilles Kortzagadarian, artists Margaret Bedell and Lesny Felix and actress Carlota Sosa.
