It’s shaping up to be a busy next few days in the design world. The NYCxDesign Festival kicked off yesterday with events and showcases across the city, and Sunday marks the return of ICFF at the Javits Center. There’s going to be a lot of fresh eye candy to discuss next week, but here are some standout debuts to mull over in the meantime.

House of Hackney premiered a characterful collaboration with Los Angeles–based home furnishings brand Nickey Kehoe. The 25-piece collection transforms an assortment of the latter’s signature silhouettes into a selection of heirloom-quality designs, including the boldly banded Camelot Stripe settee; the dangling fringe–trimmed Quercus chair; and Caspar, a low-lying, linen-upholstered ottoman with two-ring piping and double handles.

Rebecca Atwood’s Color collection reimagines solid-hued textiles as a trio of multitonal designs. Bramble offers a subtly checked woven fabric made from mostly recycled cotton, while Park provides a midweight performance fabric, and Alder features a single-color print on a linen ground that’s also available as a wallcovering.

Serena & Lily dropped its comprehensive summer collection, featuring more than 150 fresh designs across furniture, lighting, decor and textiles. Highlights from the sweeping launch include the architectural, solid wood Hayes dining table with oak finish; the raffia-shaded Carneros chandelier; and the floral-upholstered Hinsdale sofa with its chic fringe trim.

De Gournay debuted the delightful Bunny Mellon collection. Created in collaboration with the Oak Spring Garden Foundation, the launch features six hand-illustrated wallpaper designs adorned in fanciful botanical motifs sourced from the late, great horticulturist and garden designer's personal archives, including the trompe l’oeil Florilegium, the bamboo trellis–covered Miss Gough, and Hortus Medicus, which was inspired by a set of 17th century oil paintings.

St. Thomas–based designer Tiffany Cassidy of Lagnappe Custom Interiors released her first-ever fabric line. The Caribbean-charged collection, named Starboard Lane, features 10 lush landscape–driven prints available in multiple eye-catching colorways, such as the jade green, medallion-patterned Island Breeze and the electric teal blue–infused Tobago Leaf.

Handcrafted hardware studio Art & Forge teamed up with Virginia-based homewares brand Williamsburg for the former’s inaugural collaboration. The series consists of three solid brass lines that draw inspiration from 18th century American Colonial architecture, including the beaded James, the blossoming Francis Flower and the hand-finished Wren.

Jessica Helgerson rolled out her very first rug line. Handwoven in India, the enchanting collection includes seven flat-weave, pure wool styles in rich mineral tones, such as the tomato-orange Tea Time, the plum-hued Busy Bees and the grayish-green Spring Garden, a whirling wonder accented in squiggly lines, snails and porcini mushrooms.

Victoria Larson’s Curiosities line is brimming with sophisticated whimsy. An ode to the Mediterranean-style Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, the collection introduces three painterly wallpaper patterns based on original artworks: the kaleidoscopic, shell grotto–fueled Folly; the striped, molded trim–like Masquerade; and the damask-esque Roar.

Hunter Douglas unveiled an innovative collection of fabric blinds called Aria. Available in two versatile patterns and 12 neutral hues, the debut offers a smart-automated design composed of semi-opaque fabric-wrapped slats that gently filter sunlight to cast a radiant glow without sacrificing aesthetics or privacy.

Dornbracht launched the designer-savvy Atelier program. The online platform allows designers to fully customize their own high-end kitchen and bathroom fittings—from materials to profiles and production techniques—to create a truly one-of-a-kind design, such as a swan-shaped faucet outfitted in a bespoke mosaic crafted from recycled eggshells.

Visual Comfort’s new Landscape collection elevates outdoor lighting to an art form. The launch spans dozens of sleek, material-driven designs, ranging from brass step lights to travertine pathway lights and copper-finished in-grade and directional styles.
