Discover who’s who and who’s where in Editor at Large’s monthly roundup of the latest career moves across the industry.

Editorial
Luxe magazine has added two members to its editorial team. Kate Bergeron is the new associate market editor, bringing prior experience from Uhuru Design (where she was account manager), Andrew Joseph PR and the D&D Building. Shannon Sharpe is the magazine’s new home editor for the New York region, a position formerly called features editor. Her most recent experience includes serving as managing editor at Metropolis magazine.

Irene Edwards is the newly appointed editor in chief of Sunset. She had served as executive editor at Lonny magazine for over two years.

PR/Marketing
Jessica Kleiman has left her role as EVP of communications at Sandow to consult for clients on brand strategy, positioning and messaging.

Lauren Urband has left her role as vice president of HL Group to launch The Consultancy PR, her own boutique agency based in Los Angeles. 

Amy Slimak Whittle has joined Stacy McLaughlin Communications, whose clients include Housepad App by Michael Bruno, Kindel Furniture, Maison Gerard, Mark Zeff and Philip Thomas.

Rachel McAllister has left her role at Spong PR to accept a VP position at Lou Hammond & Associates, where she’ll manage PR for brands including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Victoria Giardina has joined ALT For Living as marketing coordinator. She has previously interned at Knoll Textiles and majored in graphic design at Marymount Manhattan College.

Eva Walsh has been named EVP of marketing and leasing at the Dallas Market Center. She’ll oversee the teams responsible for leasing permanent and temporary space across all product categories, as well as marketing communications, retail development, travel and market services. Walsh previously worked for the DMC in roles including temporary and permanent leasing for the apparel industry and retail and business development.

Showrooms
Ana Granados has been appointed general manager of Cosentino City Manhattan, where she will focus on increasing the brand’s visibility in the city via the newly opened showroom at the A&D Building.

Amy Nercessian has been appointed creative director at Stacy Garcia. She started her career as a designer for the brand’s hospitality products. In her current role, she will oversee creative strategy and art direction for all Stacy Garcia brands, including Stacy Garcia Hospitality, Stacy Garcia | New York and Stay by Stacy Garcia.

Design
Architect Deborah Berke has joined Yale School of Architecture as dean. Berke, founder of New York–based architecture and design firm Deborah Berke Partners, has designed projects for 21c Museum Hotels, the Yale School of Art’s Holcombe T. Green Jr. Hall, and 48 Bond Street, among others.

Interior designer Sandra Nunnerley has been named to the Baldwin Design Council, an advisory board of architects and designers sharing ideas and shaping the future of design. She was appointed by Baldwin Hardware.
