Beat the heat at a design event to celebrate the peak of summer. Read on for BOH’s list of industry gatherings and shows happening next month.

Holiday House Hamptons Designer Showhouse
Water Mill, New York | Through August 17
At this annual showhouse, over a dozen of the industry’s top interior designers transform a home with cutting-edge furnishings. This year’s event takes place in an 11,000-square-foot Water Mill home set in a 50-acre reserve, with rooms created by more than 15 design pros, including Brianna Scott Interiors and Studio AK. Proceeds support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. For more information, click here.

The Hampton Designer Showhouse
Southampton, New York | Through August 31
For the past 24 years, this event has showcased some of the country’s top design talent while raising money for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. This year’s showhouse takes place in a 9,000-square-foot home set on five acres, with spaces decorated by more than 20 design firms, including Ahmad AbouZanat Studio, Betsy Wentz Interior Design, Purple Cherry Architects and Robert Brown Interior Design. Liaigre’s Summer Exhibition at Frampton Co
Bridgehampton, New York | August 1–25
The furniture and lighting brand Liaigre is hosting a show at Exhibition The Barn, Frampton Co’s multidisciplinary design studio and gallery in Bridgehampton. The space will host cocktail receptions, designer lunches and intimate gatherings where guests can immerse themselves in an array of Liaigre’s furniture and decorative objects. NY Now Summer Market
New York | August 3–5
Taking place at the Javits Center, NY Now connects hundreds of national and international brands and their new collections with buyers from around the world. Categories range from beauty, wellness and stationery to home decor and tabletop, and attendees are invited to partake in an array of activations, panels and happy hours. A highlight of this season’s lineup is a presentation on how brands can use social media to grow their businesses. For more information, click here.

Shoppe Object New York
New York | August 3–5
This biannual home and gift show features hundreds of brands at the historic Starrett-Lehigh Building near Hudson Yards, where attendees shop from a selection of homeware, ceramics, furniture and more. From Assets to Amplification: Setting Up Your Brand Partnerships for Success

In this workshop from Business of Home’s Launch series, digital marketer Jennifer Smigma will teach attendees the framework for turning industry connections into valuable partnerships. Covering topics from initiating outreach to maintaining long-term collaborations, guests will walk away with storytelling techniques, the tools they need to approach brands about partnerships, and checklists to determine which pairings are right for them. HPxD Summer Sizzle Sale
High Point, North Carolina | August 13–16
The annual sale returns to High Point next month, giving designers an opportunity to shop from a selection of brands at major discounts. More than 25 showrooms are participating, including Verellen, Theodore Alexander, Sherrill Furniture and Eichholtz, with every item sold as is and ready for immediate pickup or shipping. Home Design Guild at ADAC: The Design Future Unveiled

Hosted by designer-client matchmaking service Home Design Guild, this day of networking and presentations at ADAC includes content that ranges from discovering the latest AI tools to unlocking your designer superpower and finding new client leads. Speakers include A Well Designed Business podcast host LuAnn Nigara, Veranda editor in chief Steele Marcoux, StyleBlueprint founder Liza Graves, Supper Club founder Lydia Menzies and more.
