The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market at AmericasMart opened earlier this week, and will run until January 19, hosting more than 7,300 home decor, furniture and gift brands, as well as a number of designer-driven programs, seminars and activities.

One of the highlights? PANTONE’s yearly color celebration and color forecast, showcased in an exhibit via color-specific vignettes from designers Robert Leleux, Shaun Smith, Jamie Durie, Michael Habachy, Tami Ramsay, Janie Hirsch and Heather Hogan Roberts. Says Laurie Pressman, vice president of PANTONE Color Institute, “AmericasMart’s signature vignette design exhibition presents an unrivaled and unique opportunity to see firsthand how the color trends will be reflected throughout the home and gift industries in the year ahead.”

Other events include CEU courses, networking receptions, presentations and awards, such as Robert Leleux in conversation with Southern style luminaries Gerrie Bremermann, Michelle Nussbaumer, Shaun Smith, Beth Webb and Brian Patrick Flynn on January 17; Home Accents Today’s editor in chief Jenny Heinzen York presenting “From Brick-and-Mortar to Click-and-Order” today; and America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards, on January 15.
