Fourteen Design Excellence Awards were presented to honorees that excelled in the areas of contract, residential and product design at the American Society of Interior Designers Illinois Chapter (ASID-IL) 10th annual Design Excellence Awards program.

Held in the historic Chicago Stock Exchange Trading Room at the Art Institute of Chicago, the evening’s program included a cocktail and networking reception, followed by a formal seated dinner. ASID national president Barbara Marini was the evening’s guest of honor.

The Design Excellence Award submissions were anonymously reviewed by a distinguished panel of industry judges comprised of Ginny Blasco, ASID, principal, Ginny Blasco Design Studio; Mike Harrigan, senior sales manager, Toto USA, Inc.; and Joan Kaufman, ASID, design director, Interior Planning & Design, Inc.
