In this practical session, Jessica Nelson, co-founder of AI for Interiors and principal of Etch Design Group, makes it simple by breaking down how AI shows up in a real design studio and clarifying how to start using it with confidence. She’ll focus on where AI can support daily workflows, and illustrate ways to utilize Claude for writing, communication and business tasks. Using a simple three-lane framework, she’ll walk through real examples drawn from active studio projects, demonstrating how these tools can streamline operations and save time. She will also introduce four image-generation tools designers are using right now—Nano Banana, Google Mixboard, Adobe Firefly and Archsynth—explaining the advantages of each.

Every example in this session is drawn from real studio work. No technical background is required—just a willingness to explore new tools and leave with several clear starting points you can apply immediately.

In this class, attendees will learn:
- How Claude fits into a design firm workflow across creative exploration, business operations and client communication
- How to write prompts that get specific, useful results instead of generic ones
- What Nano Banana, Google Mixboard, Adobe Firefly and Archsynth do, and how designers are using them
