On September 13, following the opening day of Future of Home 2021 in New York City, attendees gathered at the EQ3 showroom on Seventh Avenue for a cocktail reception. Guests were treated to light bites, blended cocktails and live music from Chris Norton’s band as they explored the showroom’s three floors, socialized with industry peers, and enjoyed an evening of good company and conversation.
The EQ3 showroom is a light-filled jewel box of glass and steel filled with sleek pieces from the under-the-radar Canadian design powerhouse, which deftly combines comfort and innovation in a wide-ranging assortment of solid wood furniture, custom upholstery, soft goods and accessories.
Business of Home editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen welcomed visitors into the showroom, remarking on the store’s 2019 opening and commenting on the pleasure of coming together again. When addressing the crowd, EQ3 president Mark Letain celebrated the brand’s 20 years in business, discussed how the flagship store drew its inspiration from the city of New York and shared his excitement for the company’s growing relationship with the community.
