- Represent the customer’s connection to Nickey Kehoe through a personable + professional demeanor
- Achieve monthly sales goals and maximize profitability
- Demonstrate and communicate a keen understanding of product information, furniture construction and design knowledge
- Develop customer relationships, understand their needs and taste - communicate new arrivals, discount opportunities and events
- Accurately process sale, memos and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Respond to incoming communications within 24 hours
- Communicate regularly with Business Dev. Manager and sales team to ensure continuity and collaboration
- Utilize problem-solving skills to swiftly determine the best solution to issues while remaining mindful of company policies
- Help with marketing engagements and in-store activations such as events. workshops, and sales
- Bring curiosity. Stay in the know of trends and industry best practices
- Taking on specialized initiatives that support the business
- Serve as the expert trade ambassador for the Nickey Kehoe brand by maintaining comprehensive product knowledge of our growing made to order NK Collection and utilizing all tools to provide immediate detail for product inquiries and sales requests
- Field and filter all inbound quote requests
- Create detailed, and accurate quotes and email to trade clientele including designers, architects, and purchasing agents
- Submit detailed and complete trade orders in a timely manner to Production
- Assist designers via email or in person with the selection, and purchase of NK Collection
- Partner with Sales Coordinator and Logistics department to ensure order flow from new trade client vetting and application to quote, approval, production and completion and delivery is seamless
- Continually grow a high level of sales performance results in your given territory while keeping the client experience world class
- Take the time to work through order processes + improve them if needed
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize

- Capable and driven to quickly learn new technologies and continually upgrade current skillset

- Availability to work weekends is required
