HYBRID Role: Travel in the field and in Showroom

Baker | McGuire is looking for a seasoned sales associate within interior design industry catering to designers and architects directly out in the field on behalf of our Atlanta Showroom. The Inside/Outside Sales Representative has the primary responsibility to maximize sales volume by growing existing business, developing new business, and providing the best possible sales service while enhancing Baker Interiors Group’s mission to offer the highest quality and service standards in the industry. They will bring their industry knowledge, passion for sales, experience, existing industry relationships and networking abilities to the role to build upon a business foundation that has been established by the showroom. Primarily in the ADAC building, there will be occasional firm visits within the Southeastern region of the country.

Mastering client relationships and lead targets - with defined strategies of opening new accounts with the showroom manager. Experience in initiating, cultivating, and sustaining strong mutually beneficial relationships and an ability to act as sales ambassador for our company continually exceeding client expectations for our products and customer service. Superior written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills.

This opportunity monitors all open orders from accurate placement to delivery. Include all necessary information on the purchase order (customer information, delivery information, product options, pricing, etc.). Gain deep understanding of oracle the order system, website, eCat and other sales tools at your disposal for ease of use. Review the purchase order and factory acknowledgments and verify that the product has been ordered/produced correctly.

Job Requirements

Researching interior design firms, contacts and opportunities that would be appropriate for our product assortment. Instagram, lead gathering and looking for new opportunities. Schedule regular product presentations with design firms to introduce our latest and most impactful collections. Educate customers on website tools. Inform of all promotions and events. Participate in design-oriented events to ensure visibility and contact with current and potential customers. Generate a quarterly synopsis of your territory with updated goals for accounts and plans for future outreach. Manage budget for monthly expenses with showroom manager and submit all expenses through Concur system in a timely manner.

General administration work on a computer required including Microsoft suite. Excellent writing, product presentation and relationship skills.
Weekdays only. In addition to legacy brands Baker | McGuire, will also be selling KKC Brands of Grand Rapids and Soicher Marin and more. Our collections span the design industry and with some of the quickest lead times and stock positioning in the industry!
