Job Description

Stephanie Gamble Interiors is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our high-end, residential design studio. Responsibilities:
-Lead all aspects associated with an assigned project from the detailed design phase through project completion. Including managing the post project professional styling and photography process.
-Work collaboratively with the design team to execute the Principal’s design vision and style along with establishing timelines and project schedules.
-Develop detailed design boards, source fabrics, plumbing, lighting, tile and furnishings
-Create and manage construction specifications and schedules.
-Create/Develop AutoCAD drawings including elevations and floor plans.
-Be the primary point of contact for the client and builder. Communicate frequently to ensure quality control and all phases/timelines/schedules are being completed on time and on budget.
-Schedule and perform routine site visits and keep the Principal and design team updated on progress and timelines.
-Participate in weekly team meetings and be able to work and manage multiple projects at once.
-Develop and mentor Junior level designers by delegating tasks and overseeing their work.

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design program
- 7+ Years experience in a high-end residential design firm along with technical knowledge of the building and construction process
-Proficient in reading and understanding detailed technical and architectural drawings.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD is a MUST along with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Google Drive.
-Experience in Studio Designer, Slack and Asana preferred.
-Obsessive attitude towards communication with strong interpersonal and writing skills.
-Must have a positive and solution-oriented attitude along with uncompromising personal values focused on hard work, hospitality and team success through excellence.
-Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm with occasional overtime requirements dependent on project deadlines. -This is an in-studio position.
-Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable automobile with the ability to travel in the tri-state area as needed.
