Job Description

Luxury residential interior design firm in Atlanta seeks a Senior Interior Designer to work closely with the Principal and design team to manage multiple high-end residential projects from conception to installation. The ideal candidate will be confident and proactive, have strong leadership, design, communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects of varying size and complexity while working with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities will include managing residential interior design projects; supervising and mentoring design team members; assisting in the development of design concepts, furniture, lighting, color palettes, and material selections. The candidate is one who possesses excellent communication skills, computer skills, customer service, and exudes professionalism. This is a full time, in person position based at our Buckhead office.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture and 5+ years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design. Technical skills should include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Design Manager, Microsoft Word, and Excel, as well as the ability to interpret and produce technical drawings. Candidates should possess excellent leadership abilities, strong attention to detail, a refined design aesthetic, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Requirements
Proven experience managing projects from concept through installation
Extensive knowledge of furniture planning, space planning, custom millwork, lighting, materials, and finish selections
Experience creating construction drawings, specifications, and design presentations
Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, proposals, budgeting, and order management within Studio Designer
Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, fabricators, and vendors throughout all phases of a project
Excellent sourcing skills with established knowledge of luxury furniture, lighting, textile, and plumbing vendors
Ability to manage multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Experience mentoring and collaborating with junior designers
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop creative solutions
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and has to be detail oriented
