Garance Rousseau is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Los Angeles studio. This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting the development and execution of high-level interior design projects on the West and East Coast. The ideal candidate will bring strong design sensibility, organizational skills, and the ability to contribute across all phases of the design process. With a balance of creative, technical, and administrative responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of the firm.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of full-time work experience in interior design
* Work on multiple projects from concept through installation, with guidance from the Design Director and Principal
* Develop design concepts and present ideas to the Principal Designer
* Create and manage furniture plans, elevations, and details using AutoCAD
* Strong knowledge of custom furniture drawings and the fabrication process
* Communicate directly with contractors and consultants throughout each project
* Conduct site visits, take field measurements, and oversee installations
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Studio Designer
* Strong visual communication skills demonstrated through hand drafting, sketching, or 3D modeling
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* Assist with procurement, scheduling, and tracking of FF&E
