JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to work under the direction of the firm’s Principal at our residential design firm located in Buckhead. The ideal candidate is a creative and energetic team player, with 5+ years post-graduate experience as an interior designer in a residential interior design firm.
The position entails:
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines of various sizes, from conception to completion
• Source new products, vendors, and inspiration
• Develop detailed design concepts and provide programming and space planning analysis
• Demonstrate understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts
• Prepare design presentation packages
• Develop space plans/schematic designs using AutoCAD
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design drawings, furniture layouts
• Create construction documents and specifications that can be used for ordering and communicating with contractors, workrooms and vendors
• Possess technical proficiency in building construction, techniques and materials
• Manage construction process and contractor/subcontractors to ensure that project deadlines are being met
• Oversee/Assist in creation of Proposals and Purchase Orders
• Create proposals for clients in collaboration with Design Assistant and Business Manager
• Coordinate and oversee installations and deliveries

To be considered for the position, candidates must have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
• 3-5 years of experience in post-graduate Interior Design (2 years in a Senior Design role)
• Profession work ethic and appearance
• AutoCAD experience required and Studio Webware experience preferred
