Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to oversee a designated region(s). The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture, lighting, and design, and will leverage their sales expertise to establish and grow relationships with top-tier interior designers, architects, and trade professionals. This role focuses on expanding our market presence, driving sales, and providing best-in-class service to clients within the territory.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
• Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic plan to target designers, architects, and high-end clients within your assigned territory.
• Client Relationship Development: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring Santa Barbara Lighting remains their preferred lighting partner.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging your network, cold-calling, and researching upcoming projects within your territory.
• Client Engagement: Regularly visit clients’ offices to present product offerings, deliver samples, and provide updates on new collections. Attend design community events to promote the Santa Barbara Lighting brand and engage with potential clients.
• Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales goals by driving new business and fostering growth with existing accounts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and order fulfillment. Assist with marketing initiatives by contributing ideas for client outreach and engagement within the territory.
• Product Education: Act as the brand ambassador by educating clients on Santa Barbara Lighting’s craftsmanship, capabilities, and product offerings.
• Customer Service: Manage orders and customer requests with attention to detail, ensuring an exceptional client experience from start to finish.
• 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the luxury market, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in lighting, design, or architecture.
• Strong connections and network within the interior design and architectural communities in the assigned territory.
• Bold, driven, and confident in pursuing new business opportunities through cold-calling and networking.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a detail-oriented approach to managing multiple accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Shopify, and CRM software (Hubspot preferred).
