Orior is seeking a poised, driven, and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our growing New York team. This role is central to cultivating and supporting relationships across the design community, from interior designers and architects to private clients and showroom visitors.
The Sales Associate will manage a blend of inbound inquiries and strategic outbound outreach, ensuring that new opportunities are developed while existing relationships are nurtured with care. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with a service-oriented approach and a genuine passion for contemporary furniture and craftsmanship. This is an opportunity to grow alongside a dynamic, family-run studio and play an integral role in its continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Client Experience
- Manage a balanced pipeline of inbound interest and proactive outbound engagement.
- Prepare and manage quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and related documents with accuracy and clarity, ensuring the seamless movement of each project from inquiry to delivery.
- Maintain consistent follow-up on all open estimates and active sales, providing timely updates and thoughtful communication.
- Welcome trade professionals and private clients to the showroom, delivering a warm, informed, and elevated brand experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production and logistics, to ensure accuracy, transparency, and excellence at every stage of the client journey.
Growth, Outreach & Brand Representation
- Develop a deep understanding of Orior’s furniture collections, production methods, and broader design philosophy.
- Engage in intentional outbound outreach to expand Orior’s presence and identify new project opportunities.
- Represent Orior at design events, showroom gatherings, and fairs, serving as a knowledgeable and professional ambassador for the brand.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in sales and/or client services; experience within the design or luxury furnishings industry strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a polished, solutions-driven, and client-focused approach.
- Strong organizational abilities and comfort managing multiple timelines, details, and priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital tools; confidence navigating databases and administrative systems.
- Authentic enthusiasm for contemporary design and handcrafted furniture, and an appreciation for the creative and artisanal process.
- Professional presence and confidence in working with interior designers, architects, and private clients.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
