Job Description

Andros Home is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to manage vendor relationships, purchasing processes, and logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring seamless order fulfillment, accurate inventory tracking, and efficient supply chain management for our high-end furniture and home goods. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, vendor negotiation, shipping coordination, and inventory control within the luxury retail or furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Vendor Management

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and lead times.
Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Track and manage special orders, custom furniture, and bulk purchases.
Work closely with the Sales & Design Team to align purchasing with customer demands.
Monitor vendor performance, addressing any discrepancies or delays.
Logistics & Order Fulfillment

Coordinate inbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Manage freight logistics, customs documentation, and international shipping when necessary.
Oversee warehouse deliveries and transfers to ensure inventory accuracy.
Partner with the Warehouse & Delivery Team to ensure smooth last-mile delivery.
Resolve shipping delays, damage claims, and supplier issues promptly.
Inventory Management & Data Accuracy

Maintain up-to-date records of inventory levels, incoming stock, and backorders.
Work with the Systems & Inventory Manager (or Showroom Manager) to integrate purchasing with the company’s inventory management system.
Analyze stock movement to anticipate restocking needs and prevent shortages.
Ensure accurate documentation of all transactions and purchase histories.
Process Improvement & Reporting

Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend process improvements.
Generate reports on purchasing trends, costs, and vendor perfor

Job Requirements

2-5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in high-end furniture, home décor, or luxury retail.
Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
Experience with inventory management systems and CRM software.
Knowledge of freight, customs, and international shipping regulations is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
