Four Story Interiors is looking for a part-time Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of multiple design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables stay on track. This role acts as the bridge between the design team, clients, vendors, and trades—bringing organization, clarity, and calm to a fast-moving creative environment. The PM would report to the Principal Designer and work hand in hand with the Design Associate to help bring the design to fruition. The role will require in studio work, as well as the flexibility to work from home as needed. The position would require around 15-20 hours per week with a flexible vacation schedule.
Previous experience within a design, building or architecture firm is preferred. The following are key responsibilities within the role:
Manage multiple residential projects from design development through installation
Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
Track project progress and proactively flag issues, delays, or budget concerns
Coordinate with the Principal Designer on priorities and workload planning
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during active project phases
Communicate with vendors, workrooms, and contractors
Place and track orders, manage lead times, and coordinate deliveries
Collaborate closely with designers to support design intent and execution
Maintain organized project files, specs, and documentation
Assist with installations and punch lists as needed
